- Avira AntiSpam component is removed from the protection functions. He was in the Internet Security and Internet Security Plus.
- Component "Local Backup" removed from the protection functions. He was in the Internet Security and Internet Security Plus.
- Avira Firewall is replaced by the Office Firewall Windows (Windows Firewall Management) for Windows Vista and above
- To enable the Windows Firewall in Windows 7 and Windows 8 for all products
- Removed the Safe Start for all products and operating systems
